Today's pictures come at quite the cost... I was slow to get out of the house this morning and missed my first bus; luckily, I can walk up the hill (4 long steep uphill blocks) to catch another bus to get me to downtown around the same time. I had about 10 minutes, so I enjoyed the cool morning and the blooming trees. The block leading up to the bus stop was lined with trees in bloom, so naturally, I stopped to take out my camera. There was a man standing at the stop, so I thought "I'll be fine... Just keep an eye on that guy" ... Famous last thoughts... I took these pictures:

Then I look up, and see the bus rolling away. Now, I could have ran after it, but I was way too embarrassed. I was sure everyone on that crowded morning bus saw the girl taking pictures of trees. Needless to say, I drove to work that day.
