Watched the Moon set this morning and decided to walk down to the boat houses on Lake Union. Beautiful morning and loving Seattle right now.

I've been wanting to try this restaurant in the International District. They were written up in Seattle Magazine for their bún, a Vietnamese cold noodle salad dish. I love bún, especially during the summer, but even though it's been a blustery day I wanted to try it.
I ordered 62. Bún đặc biệt. The combo vermicelli with grilled chicken, pork, shrimp, and egg rolls. The noodles took the flavor from the pork and chicken. The lettuce, mint, basil, cucumber, beam sprouts, carrots, and jicama were so refreshing on the bed of noodles. The fish sauce was sweet, but with all the meat and shrimp the noodles had a lot of flavor. Absolutely delicious. I'll be going back again.

Walking through Fremont, I saw an abandoned drum circle. Yes, abandoned. No people. Just the drums. Unfortunately, it was too dark to capture on camera. But as I stopped to check out the drum circle, I came across a telephone pole with years of staples from posted flyers. All the flyers had been stripped off and the staples were all that remained.
