Day 16: Cross Country Skiing at Snoqualmie

In an effort to enjoy the Northwest outdoors, a bunch of friends and I went cross country skiing. It was one of the most exhausting things I've done in a while. I felt uncoordinated and unbalanced a lot of the time, but it was a lot of fun. Eventually, I got the hang of it. I would definitely go again!

Here's a view from the cross country skiing trail at Snoqulamie.

Day 2: Gold Creek

After wasting away (well not completely, Mammoth is my new favorite bad movie) the first day of the year, I decided to get outside and enjoy the wonderful outdoors that the Northwest is known for. Carrie, Sam, and I went snowshoeing around Gold Creek in Snoqualmie. The day was pretty grey and drizzly, but the view of the snowy mountains against the half frozen creek was worth it, for sure!

Also, Happy Palindrome Day! ... never odd or even ... 01022010
