Although only for a short weekend, good friends, food, and drink made the trek to Oakland overtly worthwhile. I'll definitely be doing it again. I returned to snowy Seattle on Monday morning. And as the sun had just risen over the horizon the plane entered a sea of clouds and Mt. Rainier came to greet me like it does on any other morning commute.
Day 13: Wishful Thinking
On some mornings, the low rising sun is blinding as I drive directly towards it on my way into work, but you take what you can during the winter. This morning I was prepared for the potential for driving directly into the sun, but the drizzle and clouds wouldn't have it. This time of year the sun is barely up when I head into work, and down before I leave. I'm going to leave this dangling pair of sunglasses as an invitation for the sun to come visit soon.
... also it's the 13th of Gnome...
