Day 12: My drive home

During the course of this project I've noticed myself becoming more aware of the beauty around me. Today, as I sat in traffic, the lights of the cars and the city seemed to reflect from rear and side view mirrors and off the raindrops stuck to my car windows, creating a psychedelic light show. I took this with my iPhone while waiting at a red light. I drive past this so many days, that I tend to take it for granted. God I love Seattle!

Day 8: Typical Seattle Day

Had a the day off today. Got the normal errands done, oil change, groceries, etc. But I've been meaning to head over to Kerry Park for a long time. It's just a beautiful view of the city, and I figured it was drizzly so it wouldn't be too crowded. So I took a walk over to the park, and even on this gray day, the city looked gorgeous. I can't help but love Seattle on days like these.

(I chose this shot because of the frame the sculpture creates around this Seattle landmark. What's more Seattle than this, public art and the Space Needle)

I also ran into 2 guys I met playing darts at Kate's Pub 2 weeks ago. They were friends of my friend Jim, and they were giving a tour to some prospective UW Med School students. So I also got to hear Neil's tour schpeel.
